The Preparedness Summit is the first and longest running national conference on public health preparedness. The summit presents new research findings, shares tools and resources, and provides a variety of opportunities for attendees to learn how to implement model practices that enhance the nation’s capabilities to prepare for, respond to, and recover from public health emergencies. This year’s theme is “When Crisis is Commonplace: Transforming Your Community’s Public Health Preparedness Practices.”

The Natural Disaster Expo will feature four co-located events, each designed to address preparing for, responding to and recovering from natural disasters. These events will  attract visitors from the private sector, nonprofit, and government agencies.  The Expo offers keynote speakers, seminar sessions, panel sessions, networking opportunities, and all of the newest products and services. From emergency responders, transportation, medical and recovery services to construction, renewable energy, security, communications and the latest mitigation technologies, the event is a hub of all the resources needed to manage the impact of any natural disaster.
